Console Shades Over the Years




























The Story

Jeff & Shannon Betuch founded Console Shades in 2015.
As a grandMA© programmer Jeff was in the same predicament as every other lighting programmer/operator, couldn't see the consoles screens while either outdoors or indoors with lots of ambient light. Like all others, Jeff resorted to fabricating cardboard hoods, hiding under packing blankets or even making visqueen covers. Some of the temporary solutions worked but none of them or ideal... and with that the Console Shade was born. Over the past 8 years the shades have evolved with several different versions. The last revision was was released August 2023 and incorporates many of the successes for the earlier versions.
